Unapologetically You
Do the things. You know, the ones you would do if no one was watching? The ones you would do if no one cared? Text that person three times because you forgot to mention something in the first two texts. Eat the cake. Do the happy dance; the one you do when your food tastes just right. Sing off-key to your favorite song, even if you don’t know all the words. Wear that bright red lipstick that makes you feel seen. Take pictures of sunsets, even if you already have a thousand of them. Laugh too loudly at your own jokes, because lets be honest, they're hilarious. Pay attention to your glimmers, make time for the small moments that make you happy. Embrace the quirks that make you, you. Because life is too short to live like someone is keeping score.
Who cares if people laugh at you? Change the narrative. Maybe they’re laughing with you, not at you. Share your enthusiasm, let your laugh be infectious. Put down your armor, unapologetically. Smile at your reflection, dance in the rain, and don’t hold back your joy for the sake of blending in. Life is more vibrant when you live it for yourself, with all the silly, messy, joyful moments that make it yours.
